The glass lights

Glass lights
To accommodate the interest in smaller light objects by some prospective customers, I have now produced my first Glass Lights.
These are 36 cm (14.2 in.) high, 33 cm (13.0 in.) wide, and 16 cm (6.3 in.) deep. They are constructed exactly like the tall Light Columns, the inner body made of clear, 10 mm (0.4 in.) strong acrylic glass. To reduce cost, I forewent a base module, utilizing a thin cork plate under the bottom instead. The cover for the glass light, with the Jugendstil motif familiar from the tall columns, is created using 3 mm (0.1 in.) darkened brass.
Illumination is achieved with a 3000k warm light LED panel of a 50,000 hour life time per manufacturer’s specification.
