Glass picture
Each glass picture is mounted on a light-box of the following dimensions and characteristics:
A small picture measures 320 × 320 mm (12.6" × 12.6"), where the outer dimensions of the light-box are 340 × 340 mm (13.4" × 13.4"), creating a 10 mm (.4") all around frame. A large picture of 620 × 420 mm (24.4" × 16.5") rests on a box of 640 × 440 mm (25.2" × 17.3"). Each light-box has a depth or thickness of only 40 mm (1.6").
A small light-box contains 5.7 m (18.7'!) of highest quality Osram warm-white LED-strip, the unbelievable length of 15 m (49.2') is used in a large box. The LEDs are specified to have a minimum life expectancy of 50,000 hours.
A cable connects the light-box to an electronic light control unit. With the attached on/off and dimmer pedal it may be placed on the floor near an available electrical outlet.
